John Connolly, ePro® Certified Salt Lake Utah Realtor® ePro®

I'm pleased that you've dropped in to learn a little more about me! In this messy market, it's even more important that you select a Salt Lake Realtor who is a good match for you, and who can offer you the best of today's real estate service, technology and marketing. I appreciate that there are lots of Salt Lake City Realtors out there for you to choose from. I also understand that many folks feel 'pressure' to hire a relative or acquaintance who happens to have a license, but who isn't necessarily right for you! Remind yourself that you are embarking on a significant financial transaction, and that you don't want risk thousands of dollars of your bottom line. It is a mistake to select your Real Estate Agent based on "who you know" vs. "what they know"!

I am a professional real estate agent committed to serving your home buying and selling needs in the Salt Lake Valley. I am dedicated to the success of my clients — long before and after a transaction I keep my interested clients informed and updated on the SLC real estate market movements. I am particularly dedicated to the "educational" approach, and enjoy enriching the lives of my clients with knowlege they can use to build wealth and make sound decisions in real estate.

I also think that it is important for you to have the opportunity to read my story of what motivated me to go into the Real Estate Service business. It is a bit long and detailed, and sadly, it chronicles my own personal first time home buyer horror story -- but it will truly give you insight into my ethics and commitment to you when you hire me to help you buy or sell your home! I am motivated by personal experience to protect the interests of my clients - it is the reason I chose to enter this profession. I truly believe that because of my personal experience and conviction, I serve my clients far better than the majority of other agents you will encounter. Understand that there is a WHOLE lot more to being an agent than just having your real estate license!

Real Estate is an important part of my life, but it is not "who" I am. I like for the people I work with to know that I am a fun-loving father of three beautiful children, a volunteer Soccer Referee, and an avid skier and mountain biker. I also drag race a performance-modified 1964 VW Beetle (restored to look like Herbie the Love Bug). I built, owned and operated three service businesses prior to entering the real estate profession. I moved here from Washington DC / Northern Virginia and have lived in Salt Lake City since 1997. I got to know the Salt Lake Valley geographically and architecturally very well during the 5 years that I operated a home service business. I received my BSc. in Engineering from the University of Virginia and take pride in having an "engineers mind" that includes being able to look at problems from various angles and being able to see multiple viewpoints. My engineering way of thinking serves you well when I'm negotiating on your behalf. I am proud to be one of only 6000 Realtors® (nationwide) that have obtained the ePro® designation. As an ePro® Certified Utah Realtor®, I am invested in technology that streamlines the real estate experience. With the technical assistance of my wife (who is a long time computer geek and Internet Marketing Specialist), I am able to provide my clients with highly effective real estate service, and high quality real estate transactions. I hope that you will visit my Get To Know John Personally page, and I look forward to getting to know you better in person as I serve your Utah Real Estate needs!

After what my wife and I experienced during the purchase of our first home here in Salt Lake City, I can't help but feel fervently about the level of service and integrity with which I serve my clients. When you interview other agents please ask them this key question: "Can you tell me why you chose Real Estate as a profession? What fuels your involvement in real estate?" Because their answer will speak volumes about their level of conviction and commitment to serve you well.

I would love for the opportunity to meet you and be your Salt Lake City Realtor®. Contact me today to learn first hand how good a real estate transaction should be.

Sincerely,

John L. Connolly
